This morning it seemed as though there was much debate as to the perfect card to flip, or maybe more so, which card was the worst to see while catching your breath on the cement pad post hill sprint. Two’s are usually welcomed in a deck of cards workout but for me, this was my pick for worst card…2 pushups, 2 squats, 2 situps – this did not take very long and definitely not long enough to get my breathing under control before heading back up the steep ski hill. For others, it was the ACE…14 pushups, 14 squats, 14 situps – while your lungs may have recovered slightly, that shorter, less steep slope was tough after hammering out those 42 reps. Then I overheard discussions about the 10…10 pushups, 10 squats, 10 situps – and after all of that, you still had to go up the long steep ski hill. Regardless, the fact that there seemed to be so much discussion as to the card you hoped you’d turnover indicates to me that the entire workout was a winner, meaning the workout designer can totally take credit for kicking your ass today with any possible flip of the card…thanks Andrew for making us sweat!
On another note…I believe we were all victorious over the mosquitos this morning as there didn’t seem to be that many feasting on us…that’s a win in my books any day!
