Oh mercy, me. Where, oh where to begin? As a newbie put it “Today was spectacular!”  I concur.  #ThisShitIsGood.

This 317 inspired workout consisted of 3 minutes of body weight squats, Up and Over, 3 minutes of bear crawls on the south stairs, Up and Over, 1 minute of jumping lunges, Up and Over, 1 minute of plank-to-push up, Up and Over, 7 minutes of plank/walking lunges, Up and Over, 7 minutes of burpees/running south stairs with one last Up and Over for good measure. It was not only extremely hard, but we all suffered enjoyed it together.

The #PositivityAward went to Ms. Jules, who not only survived winter with us, but continually shows up even when the rest of her pose will not. Ahem, no names mentioned. Congrats, Julie. We will miss your beautiful smile, steadfast positivity and suburb hugs.

Spartan details: Carpool Caravan will assemble at 905 N. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Arrive NO LATER THAN 8:30AM on the morning of Saturday May 16, 2015. Departure time is 8:45AM. We will leave without you. Bring: ID, $cash money$, change of clothes (shirt, shorts, socks, shoes–all of it), plastic bag, towel, waivers and your standard badassery. There IS a gear check, it is $5. There are (free) showers and (free) post-race photos. We will return to Indy around 5pm, hopefully. After cleaning up, the post-race festivities will begin at Ed and Jessie’s casa around 7pm.
