3..2..1.. (YEG)

I’ve probably told many of you before that I don’t check the weather the night before the workout. I’ll check in the afternoon or a few days ahead so I have an idea what to expect, but when I check before bed, it makes it harder to jump out of bed when you know that it is not 15C out. It also gets your brain working because you have to figure out how many layers you will need for the workout. Yesterday, I never checked the weather in the afternoon and wasn’t sure what to expect. So, as I was setting my alarm, I stopped for a moment, and stared at my weather app for 10 seconds. I was really curious to see if this great weather would continue. Instead of opening the app, I put my phone away and went to bed. For the record, I had no problem getting out of bed this morning, and went to go put on my layers. I open up the app to check what the current weather is….

No Data Available?  I can’t even begin to tell you how big of a mess my morning was. I’m not even sure how I made it to the hill.

Here are some things you’re going to want to mark down on your calendar:

January 28, 29 and 30th – Yes, 3 consecutive days of workouts featuring these two giants and countless worldwide participants from the Winter Cities Shake Up.

January 31st – #InappropriatelyFast #NP_Homework is due on the insta.

February 16th – Sunshine 6k. There’s not enough 6k races around these days. Note: This appropriately named event will be 6k, but we can almost guarantee there will be no sunshine at 6am.

Monday will be special. Monday will be like Vegas. You’ll do some gambling… People will take off clothes… and you just might fall in love… One thing is for sure though, what happens at this next #bridgemonth workout, stays at this #bridgemonth workout. If you have a dice.. die.. fuzzy dice… (any shape and size) please bring it with you. We’ll see you in the middle of the river at 6am.
