Times have been fast and yet things are moving according to plan. In the last few weeks we’ve brought on two… no, no, three new cities. In all of the elevated insanity that was the November Project Summit, these giant announcements were left undone until now. In order of when they came on officially are our three newest additions to the NP Movement – Worcester, Kelowna, & Kansas City. Our new grouping, recruiting class, or current moment in time must be marked by our usual hashtag, one that represents all 26 tribes. It must be something strong and something that is common throughout the world. It must connect the badass nature of what we do without being out of reach. Iron. The element’s number is 26. Iron is hard-to-the-fucking-core. We are now the #Iron26 with our three newest tribes on board. Here they are…

“Wait, what!? You mean that the town 40 minutes down the road from Boston has their own tribe!?” Calm down kids. Put it like this: When the three Kenary brothers look to build their town into a place to be even more proud of, as lifers, as believers in the underdog, as community drivers… they took to pledging as a NP tribe. Almost 100 athletes in a single workout over a handful of weeks of building and we were sure that these folks were serious. If you get a chance to drop in on these guys please do – They’re going to be rocking Wednesday stairs, rain or shine, all winter long. Check them out.
Now, for the other two cities, they were brought on at the same moment as a bit of a surprise. After our Friday morning pop-up at the Utah State building in Salt Lake City, we brought both John Kohler and Roz Huber forward to stand proud in front of 300+ hard core NP’ers. John from KC and Roz from Kelowna thought they were visiting the summit as “guests” who were still in pledge mode… and then it happened. In front of the entire family reunion, the entire mob, the entire #NPSUMMIT under the dull lighting of a fresh mountainous sunrise… they were handed their individually carved Positivity Awards and brought into the family by Co-Leaders Laura McCloskey and Dan Graham (of NPSF & NPMKE). It was a cool movement to say the least. The time spent with the 50+ co-leaders throughout the weekend was priceless and these two tribes are now off and running.

Ask John (above) which side of Kansas/Missouri boarder his new tribe belongs to and you’ll get this, “We’re both sides. We are doing this for both sides of KC and want both sides to be proud of this city. This should be seen as a way to unite our town.”
