While the rest of the world gets blasted with snow and record lows, we’re nestled into our temperate oasis that is the Pacific Northwest.  2017 is well underway and we couldn’t be more hyped.  Like most of you, we have lofty goals for this year and because each of you are a valuable part of what we’re building, we want to offer full transparency. So, let’s talk goals.

  1. Workouts – Brian and I share a belief that November Project is built around the workouts themselves.  They are meant to be ass-kicking, belly-splitting, and high energy. Every week. It is our first goal to design fun, challenging, innovative, and efficient workouts week in and week out.  If you have feedback you want provide us, please do not hesitate.  We’re not trainers and only semi-athletic, so we encourage you to share your feedback on how our workout design can be improved.
  2. The Tribe – The tribe is comprised of so many talented people with interesting stories coming from entirely different temperaments, talents, and convictions.  If you’re a baker, let’s see what those muffins are all about.  If you’re a photographer, come take photos during a workout or two (or 20).  If you’re a writer, this blog is your canvas; we’d love to hear your story.  If you have fitness goals, share them and let’s train together and achieve those goals. Whatever it is, let’s make an extra effort to get to know one another.
  3. Community – November Project is a workout, but I think we can all agree that’s not what keeps us coming back. It’s the hugs, high-fives, laughs and deep sense of community that draws us back for more.  Every person has had their first workout, so I challenge you to get out of you comfort zone every week.  Don’t get me wrong, I love that through November Project, friendships have formed, relationships have been built, roommates have been found, but those aren’t going anywhere.  Find those first-timers every week and get to know them.  They might be your next best friend, roommate, boyfriend or girlfriend.  Once again, I’ll ask the question: while we have BUILT a strong community, are we continuing to build it?

We share these goals to be held accountable.

Let’s have a year. #JustShowUp
