It was a warm summer morning on August 26, 2015. After 9 weeks as an #np_pledge, Seattle Squad was granted access into the coveted movement known as November Project. On that day, November Project Seattle became official. Here we are, almost one year later and by the looks of it, we’re not going anywhere any time soon.
Next Wednesday, August 24 will be November Project Seattle’s 53rd Wednesday workout. I’ve never been a big calendar guy, but I know enough to recognize 53 Wednesdays means we’ve lasted one year. 12 months of waking up before the sun. 52 weeks of hugging and high-fiving. 365 days of building something that will last a lifetime.
We, the community that is November Project Seattle, would like to invite YOU to come celebrate this momentous occasion with us. It’s simple. You [literally] just show up at 6:29am at Gas Works Park on Wednesday, August 24. The workout, the support, the inspiration, the love, the hugs, the high-fives. The community. It’ll be there waiting for you.
So, if you’re a core member of the community, we’ll see you there. If you’ve been once but haven’t had the chance to return, we’ll see you there. If you’ve been thinking about giving it a shot, we’ll see you there. If you’ve never heard of us and have absolutely no desire to find out what we’re all about, while it seems unlikely, but we hope to see you there!
Just. Show. Up.
For this workout and this workout only, we’ve created a Facebook event to increase buzz and strengthen our recruiting efforts. It’s open to everyone, so invite away, RSVP your hearts out, and post funny shit on the page.
We cannot wait to see you next week. The tribe is strong.
